Think Crayola colours, vintage styling and natural fabrics- as kids just want to have fun
Vintage style clothes are a key trend for summer.... former fashion designer Katherine Trigg gets the inspiration for he vintage-style prints, which range from cowboys, ballet shoes, primroses and forget-me-nots, "from my lifestyle, having four children and travelling all my life. Also from our English heritage. The Janet and John books are all so nostalgic that I just wanted to create clothes for kids that are a mix of contemporary, classic and cool- clothes for kids and not mini adults." Of course, the great thing about vintage- style prints is that they look better the longer you have them. "Natural cottons just get better the more they are washed, and the prints take on a new life."
