Katherine Trigg, founder and designer of Vintage Kit, has embarked on a new project with Disney. The new collaboration features Disney character prints from classic films such as Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan and Bambi. In keeping with the mainline collection, the range reflects Vintage Kit's ethos of intentional sentimentality and homemade style.
Swirly sun dresses and full skirts are printed with motifs from the Disney stories, on baby blue,
lemon, white and pale pink grounds. Characters include Bambi and Thumper, Tinkerbell from
Peter Pan, and Alice in Wonderland, which has been licensed exclusively for the first time in the UK.
WGSN loves the pale pink 'Alice' party dress with delicate blue velvet ribbon straps.
Vintage Kit also showed a selection from its mainline range. For boys, this included a toy soldier print
collection with shorts, T-shirts and a backpack. For toddler girls, a Missy Mouse print is used for sweet
little bikinis and skirts trimmed with a sequin waistbands.
